The newest addition to the Sony Cinealta acquisition system is the F23. An HD progressive camera with a genuine film camera style that can capture images in 4:4:4 resolution at 14 Bits with variable frame rates.This allows for quick- or slow-motion functionality, also known as 'undercranking' or 'overcranking' to produce special motion effects wich can be viewed instantly. The adjustments for this function can vary between 1 frame per second (FPS) and 60 FPS.The F23 also brings new creative tools such as the gamma S-LOG
And the ability to costumize the gamma curve. Its high resolution At 1920 x 1080 and its 4:4:4 capture are ideal for post efects, colorization and chroma keying.

  The legendary Sony F900, the first model of the Cinealta adquisition system and the camera in which films such as Star Wars and Collateral were shot offers and amazing 4:2:2 resolution and the option to record in progresive or interlace mode in various rates. Its versatility and reduced size turned this camera into the HD Standard for TV commercials, documentaries and the production of TV series.

Thanks to the use of Pro 35 adapters you can now use 35mm film lenses on HD and digital 2/3” cameras to gain more freedom for your image composition. Depth of field, focus and angle of view are virtually the same as with a 35mm motion picture camera thanks to the use of the adapter and all the lens choices available in the market.
Among our adapters we have the PRO 35 MKII which Works better at higher frame rates due to the Fact that that the ground glass oscillates with a higher speed range than before to avoid interferences with the shutter speed.
